Join us for a first of its kind office hours event tomorrow, December 10th at 9AM PT / 12PM ET / 6PM CET, to learn more about Wscripted’s 2025 programming, our pre-submissions with producer matching for the Fifth Cannes Screenplay List opening next week, and a Wscripted+ Showcase. The event aims to bring together our community to share more about the expansion of our impact programming for 2025, reasons that led us to build Wscripted+ and to answer your questions! Pre-Submissions with Producer Matching Opening Next Week:

This year, we are excited to offer our community an exclusive opportunity to apply to our pre-submissions with producer matching for the Fifth Cannes Screenplay List before the official submissions opening on January 15, 2025.

Applying to the Fifth Cannes Screenplay List Pre-Submissions includes:

• Pre-submission to Wscripted’s Fifth Cannes Screenplay List.

• An individual 30-minute session to develop a tailored list of producers based on your project details and comparative titles. We’ll invite your tailored list of producers to discover your project on Wscripted+ during the campaign of the Fifth Cannes Screenplay List.

• Guidance on how to promote your project on Wscripted+, along with feedback to enhance your project's “e-coverage,” provided by our team after your individual session.

• An extended window to refine your “e-coverage” and a complimentary 4-month coupon to upload your updated drafts to Wscripted+ until the Fifth Cannes Screenplay List’s final submission deadline of March 15.

Coming this December on Wscripted+:

Wscripted+ is designed to power story discovery by allowing professionals in film, TV, and publishing to review projects faster while receiving personalized project recommendations based on their interests. Wscripted+ was created by leveraging our team's industry expertise and understanding of decision-makers' needs. The platform breaks down key challenges like time constraints and unconscious biases, which lead to talents being overlooked, while ensuring copyright protection and enhancing the exposure of writers' works.

With the latest update, Wscripted+ will give the option to upload your project and manually create your “e-coverage” without AI. This feature empowers you to showcase and get your project promoted on the platform without relying on AI. Wscripted+’s "e-coverage" features all the key elements typically found in an industry-standard coverage reviewed by decision-makers.

When uploading your project, you will be able to choose between two options:

• "Upload with AI" which generates a detailed story report in just five minutes, or

• "Upload without AI" which redirects you to the project page, where you can manually write your project’s "e-coverage." You will need to have ready the following materials: logline, short summary, long summary, character breakdown, genre, comparative titles, and themes.

  The Writer’s Page will highlight your biography, IMDb profile, agent or manager contact details, and all projects listed on Wscripted+.

• AI Protection Clause

  Wscripted’s team is closely following the laws being negotiated to protect copyrighted materials and is building into the technology the option to download your project in PDF format with the most up-to-date AI protection clause to prevent your project from being used to train AI systems or uploaded into unsafe or non-compliant systems that may infringe on your copyright.
