For the list's 5th anniversary, we're inviting all women and non-binary filmmakers and screenwriters with projects in development and financing stages to apply. In addition to the list nominations—which are promoted to industry professionals—we're planning a special, exclusive pitch event with a curated guest-list of high-profile investors and producers in Cannes. Focus on Second Cannes Screenplay List Nominees

As we celebrate the fifth anniversary of the list, we are excited to highlight the work of all list nominees, which will be highlighted in our fifth anniversary booklet promoted with the industry, producers and agents.

Join "Angle on Producers" host Carolina Groppa for a first-of-its-kind workshop on short film budgeting, where we are showcasing Wscripted+!

After producing award-winning projects on tight budgets for over a decade, Carolina Groppa knew a thing or two about going from script to screen. Creating an accurate, workable budget is a crucial step in the filmmaking process, so why not share my process with all of you?

This workshop will teach you how to read your scripts like a producer. Practical budgeting framework specifically designed for creatives—writers, directors, actors, and of course, producers….anyone who thinks in shots, not spreadsheets.

Join Carolina Groppa for a two-session virtual workshop on April 7 and April 10, where we will break down a short film script together and build a budget on Saturation, a new budgeting platform.

What script will we work from, you ask? Yours! Participants have the option to submit short film scripts no longer than 15 pages via Wscripted+, a platform that helps producers source great scripts, for the chance to be workshopped by me and read by your peers.

Submissions will be reviewed by team AOP, and one lucky participant will walk away with a completed budget.
