Happy Tuesday! In this newsletter, we talk about our Script Notes Workshop, Caspian Films and Club fellowship deadlines!

We are pleased to invite Storyteller Club members to an exclusive Script Notes Workshop with Anna Ciennik. You will learn the script notes methodology used by script readers and script consultants, how to share and receive feedback with/from fellow women writers.

This online training aims to set the fondations of our Club's peer to peer script notes groups, give you the tools to analyze scripts the same way decision-makers review projects, learn the best practices to give feedback to support your peers and receive feedback on your drafts.

Anna Ciennik is a Script Consultant and Screenwriter with a strong network in the author-driven independent film industry. After graduating from La Fémis, Anna worked as a line-producer and post-production supervisor for Les César, Les Films d’Ici, Les Films de Pierre, Kazak productions. In parallel, she has been reading scripts for companies and institutions in France and the UK including the CNC, Why Not Productions, and Creative Films. Anna’s interest for international independent production led her to join Paris’ Coproduction Village and Les Arcs European Film Festival as manager of the European Industry events. When consulting on scripts, Anna puts her skills at the service of the author's vision. She intervenes at different stages of development, adjusting to the writer’s and production's needs. Apart from working privately for writer-directors and producers, Anna is a script consultant for several development labs including BoostNL founded jointly by Holland Film’s Meetings & Rotterdam’s Cinemart, Open Doors Hub, Lab & Consultancy run by Locarno Film Festival, Plot Script Lab attached to IndieLisboa and finally Alpi Film Lab, a newly created scheme by TorinoFilmLab and the Italian Cinema Film festival of Annecy. Anna works in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish.

Storytellers with a feature film with strong casting potential are invited to apply before September 30th at 6PM ET. Preferred genres include drama, literary adaptations, romance and romantic comedy, history, adventure, political and action thrillers, and smart science fiction. Only the 4 selected writers will be notified on Friday October 7th.

This virtual event is free for all Wscripted's members to attend. We strive to create a productive forum in which writers can practice their pitches and the opportunity for constructive networking.
