A very special collab: YOU RESEMBLE ME release

Pleased to announce a first of its kind collaboration with fellow Cannes Screenplay List Nominee Dina Amer for the release of her debut feature YOU RESEMBLE ME!

Executive produced by Spike Lee, Spike Jonze, Riz Ahmed and Alma Har’el, the film tells the true story of Hasna Ait Boulahcen, a woman who was falsely accused of being Europe’s first female suicide bomber. It follows two sisters on the outskirts of Paris and after the siblings are torn apart, the eldest, Hasna, struggles to find her identity, leading to a choice that shocks the world.

After a very successful world premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2021, YOU RESEMBLE ME is set to open on November 4th in New York City and November 11th in Los Angeles, with a US national release to follow. Stay tuned as we unveil next week the details of a special screening and Q&A for Wscripted's members in New York! 🗽
